I believe that what you would do in real life determines what you would do in a lucid dream. If you are someone who would do immoral things then that might be something that you would want in a dream, and so there should be some guilt if you do this.
We can control our dreams. So if we do something that is immoral, we should feel guilt. Just like we can do anything when we're awake, we can do anything when we are asleep. I feel that we should be accountable for what we do when we are awake or sleeping.
I don't know. This is hard for me to answer. Obviously you should feel some sense of guilt because you did something bad, but I think when something like that happens in our dreams we realize how much we don't want that to happen in real life. Unless your some kind of pervert or something... At least that's how it would be for me. I don't know though, I have never had a lucid dream.
I don't think so, because not everyone can help what they think or want or whatever, and we can't always control our dreams. Like when you want to go faster and can't, and just stuff like that in dreams you can't always control. I think we should only be judged based on what you actually do in real life. maybe you want to do it, but you don't in real life, and I think that restraint is what really counts.
Yes, I say if you have control over your actions, even in sleep, you are held accountable for them. I have had lucid dreams before, and it's cool because you know you're asleep, and yet you're in a free world to do anything the imagination can come up with. Yes, it seems there are no consequences for that which you do while in this lucid dream, and that's true for the most part. But it's just like stealing something from a store, and getting away with it. There are no consequences besides your own conscious. I believe lucid dreaming works the same way. Just because nothing is going to happen to you because of the things you did, doesn't make it right.
If you're in a lucid dream you're basically awake in your mind. anything can happen and you still know the decisions you should and shouldn't be making. Although there are still thoughts that are uncontrollable just like when you're conscious. I've never had a lucid dream so i wouldn't know if it's easier or harder to control our thoughts while sleeping. I'd assume it's harder because you really can't do anything to snap you out of thinking the wrong thought. I'd say we shouldn't feel guilty because a lucid dream isn't a dream that is had often(unless you've trained yourself to be able to). Might as well take advantage of the situation while you can.
Any normal person would feel guilt for this, its called being human. However, I don't believe you should feel completely guilty. You can't always control everything that happens in a dream. If we could do you think people would still have nightmares? I agree with Michele, judge on what a persons actions are not on their thoughts.
I want to say no... this was a hard concept for me to choose a side but when it comes down to it, you never ACTUALLY did the bad action. But then again it's just as bad to control and go through a thought like that... You should proabbly just feel guilty either way.
The lucid dream reflects who you are and what kind of thoughts you have. So I think you shoud feel guilty for even having a thought like that because bad thoughts turn to bad actions!
I don't think that you should feel guilty at all. Dreams are for you and only you. If you really want to do something but you can't do it in real life a dream allows it. dreaming allows you to be someone your not!
wow. This is kinda a hard question. gah. well It is different. You should feel guilty we are taught to control our thoughts. But it is hard and we are kids still learning.
No way! Its a dream. You didn't actually do it. Dreams usually unmask what you're thinking about deep down, but as long as you have the self control to refrain from doing it in a conscious state, no worries.
I think that if you do have an immoral dream it doesn't necessarily mean your a bad person. It probably means that you need to watch your actions more carefully so that you can prevent dreams like that in the future.
Psh, no way! I think it's awesome. You can get away with anything you want, and experience things you normally wouldn't because they are "morally wrong", without actually doing them. So no repercussions(: I wish I had more of them.

No there is no need to feel guilty for something you didn't actually do. Sure its a thought, but its an unconscious thought
