If you do something immoral while having a lucid dream, when you wake up, should you feel guilty about it?

I feel that you should feel somewhat guilty because you know what they say "You are what you think about".
well... you find out that you are dreaming. you know that you could do whatever you want. out of all the cool things you could think of doing for the next hour, you end up deciding to do something immoral... either its just a serious lack of imagination or its not something you would have a problem with doing in real life. so you should feel guilty.
Well, I'm admittedly skeptical about the idea that you are exactly the same person and personality you are in your waking life in your lucid dream. I mean, I'm sure many of us have had dreams where we acted notably different than we would in real life, so perhaps whatever character you are in your dream is the one in control.
On the premise that you know you are dreaming you do have some control over the dream, but not total control. So I believe that we should be wary of doing the immoral activities of our dreams in real life, and that we should not worry about it beyond that.
If it is a lucid dream then you should feel guilty. Like what kevin said."out of all the cool things you could think of doing for the next hour, you end up deciding to do something immoral... " that descibes this the way i feel but if you are just in a normal dream then it kind of dependce
I think that you should feel guilty because if you know your dreaming and you still do immoral things then its like your doing immoral things while your awake.
I also agree with Kevin. If you are in control of your dream and you do something immoral, you should feel guilty because you are in control or your dream and, for reals?! That is what you choose to do?! It's like a lucid dream reveals the desires of your mind, so you can do anything that you were not able to do in reality. Choosing to do something immoral is just filthy and low. There should be a feeling of guilt.
i don't think you should feel guilty. its just a dream it didn't happen in real life. On the other hand if you do something bad while you are not dreaming than yes feel guilty all you want.
I think you should at least feel a little bit guilty if you did something immoral in a lucid dream. After all you are in charge and can control it. But you shouldn't be too hard on yourself either. After a short time of feeling guilty, you should forgive yourself, since it was just a dream and not real life!
Dear fellow class mates; what are you talking about? Feeling guilty? It's first of all the guilty feeling that makes it 'immoral' so if you don't make that 'guilty' feeling up in your mind after doing something you normally wouldn't do in your dream, it isn't even immoral. If you kill someone in a dream that you don't like or something, you shouldn't feel guilty that "oh my gosh I just freakin totally killed someone, dude, I must be a total mess, dude, holy crap dude, I feel so bad, dude" because it is just a fantasy that in your dream at the moment seems very relieving. It is just like when you are being annoyed by that certain someone and you look at that rock next to your foot and you think 'man, that rock in my hand could do a whole lot to make him/her shut up for the rest of their lives ...' Do you ever feel guilty about that? I though so. If you do, then you're just too good of a person to be true. Fantasies rock. It's part of dreaming and fantasizing to actually be able to imagine absurd and 'on-the-edge' stuff. Yeah. So... Conclusion: Don't feel ashamed or guilty. At the most you could get the feeling of: wow, do I have some kind og crazy imagination, followed by a nervous laughter.
I think that you should feel a little guilty. Because if you're doing immoral stuff in your dreams than there's a good chance your thinking about it when you're not dreaming.
Well since I already answered this in class!! I personally think you should not feel guilty until you act upon it. People are always saying things about other people that arent appropriate. Does that mean the person will actually go hit someone in the face, most likely not. So should that person feel quilty for thinking that? No. We are made to have all those thoughts and feelings and we are all going to have them
Absolutely not. Lucid dreams I think are kind of our way out of things that we know aren't right. If we don't like someone when we're dreaming and we imagine fighting them, it may release some anger that we have towards them. Would we ever do it? You don't know. But I'm betting for most people, dreaming it is satisfactory enough. You shouldn't feel guilty. You didn't do anything. Right?? So theres nothing to feel guilty about.
not at all, its just a dream, its not like were going to go out and do those things just because we did it in a dream, like i have dreams that im flying quite a bit. that dosent mean im going to jump off a building anytime soon. lucid dreams are just fun in my opinion.

Yes i think so. You do realize what you are doing when you do it so therefor you did it consciously and should feel guilty about it.
Dream about it? No I don't think you should feel guilty. It's what's on your mind at the time.
haha funny question... hm i think that you should feel guilty beacuse you know what your doing and thinking so....ya feel guilty you bad thinking lucid dreamers!:) haha.:)
